After 35+ years working on sites in many different minerals processing plants in many different countries for many different organisations, it is truly astonishing to me to repeatedly witness the speed at which improved operating tactics are defined and subsequent significant value unlocked, with the use of modern digital methodologies at Interlate, even at those operations already considered the most efficient.

Now towards the back end of my career I reflect on the what if? Can you imagine what we could have achieved if we had these methods back then? This perspective from old to new, makes me just want to be a part of this, it’s a game changer

Brett Harries | Engagement Lead

I love working with the intelligent and compassionate people of Interlate and I feel so privileged to be part of this amazing team. The diversity of our thinking, the focus on personal development and team dynamics as well as how open and vulnerable we are with each other, makes it a pleasure to come to work each day.

The problems are always complex, but setting up our systems so that collaboration is essential has allowed us to take advantage of each other’s strengths and interests.

After more than a decade working in Management Consulting, Interlate has given me the springboard I needed to start a successful career in Data Analytics. They have also given me opportunities to develop and improve myself in a variety of other areas, and acquire new knowledge and skills.

It’s great to work for a company that is so in-tune with its employee’s personal and professional growth; that assists you and the team on multiple levels, allowing the freedom to innovate and share ideas. Most importantly it is this culture that enables us to react and implement new ideas fast, as the data environment and technologies are constantly evolving. It’s been a truly rewarding experience for me.

Daniela Gioia | Visualisation Architect

We didn’t start with a single piece of technology. We started by giving ourselves permission to solve any problem our clients had, by using data as creatively as possible. It was the perfect environment to pioneer and innovate.

Years down the line we proved first to ourselves and secondly to our clients, that data science solutions work. Not just interesting to look at or talk about. My role initially was focused around exploring how both simple and advanced forms of mathematics can be used in varying industries, followed by their presentation and implementation. Now I develop a client-requested machine learning tool and continue to let those creative juices flow. Pushing-the-limits is one of biggest reasons I enjoy working here and I know our clients feel that energy too.
